826 Tucson: Jardin Estrella
Jardin Estrella is a branding project with elements of typography, logo design, web design, motion design, and merchandise design. The goal of this project was to learn the basic elements that go into building a brand.
Hi!! My name is Reese Mallon and I am a graphic designer and mixed media artist based in Detroit. I really enjoy creative directing, and am open to all challenges. I enjoy many kinds of projects and using my design skills in other disciplines. From music videos to shoe customization, I take what I have learned as a designer and adapt it to any scenario. I love experimenting with funky color palettes and using them to create a unique look (both in my work and my everyday life). I am very good at adapting my skills to different aesthetics and I really enjoy trying out different styles whenever I can. In my free time I enjoy being outside, and Irish dancing. I’ve been performing and competing for almost 11 years now!
My end goal is to work as a creative director in the music industry. I am extremely passionate about the importance of visuals in the music realm and I think it is a space that lends itself to endless possibilities, ones in which I will be able to use all of my skills and talents. I hope to help the music industry become more environmentally conscious and accessible to the masses. I believe music is for everyone, and I hope to use my influence and voice to make positive changes in this industry. Overall, my goal is to help people. Whether it be giving them access to music they didn’t have access to before, or help them get their dream job in the industry, I want to help people and make the world a little bit better than it was before!
