ACADEMIC SPONSORED PROJECT
GOAL:
Make the Environmental Interpretive Center more engaging and visible in their community. OUR TAKE:Nature is always moving and changing. The ebb and flow of life was our inspiration for this project. We created a whole new immersive experience for guests that spanned from the digital world to the physical world. One that changes with the seasons, weather, migration patterns, life itself.
This project was created as part of a student-sponsored collaboration with the Environmental Interpretive Center at the University of Michigan Dearborn. All rights to the work are retained by the student creators and the sponsor.

ACADEMIC SPONSORED PROJECT
GOAL:
Design a vehicle of the future that improves the lives of drivers, while staying within the Volkswagen mantra: the people’s car.
OUR TAKE:
We created a vehicle that would promote physical activity, mindful habits, and would help them live healthier and happier lives. The vehicle would highlight different mindful experiences like minute meditations, mood lighting, and exercise opportunities throughout.

This project was created as part of a student-sponsored collaboration with Volkswagen (VW). All rights to the work are retained by the student creators and the sponsor.

YOUR VIBE FERNDALE
CHANNELS  Campaign

ACADEMIC PROJECT
GOAL:
Design a tourism campaign to bring more visitors to Ferndale, Michigan.
MY TAKE:
We chose to focus on the lively nightlife Ferndale has to offer.  Ferndale often goes under the radar since it is so close to Detroit which is also renowned for its nightlife. I worked on a team of two other designers Destiny Smith, and Dakota Hanson-Meier. Together we created this campaign to show that Ferndale truly has something for everyone. There is a wide variety of places to choose from. You just need to “choose your vibe”.

SEMIOTICS OF A CAN OPENER
CHANNELS  Print

ACADEMIC PROJECT
GOAL:
Create a collection of designs made solely of type and image based on the semiotics of a common household object. In this case, a can opener.
MY TAKE:
I chose to photograph a can opener and explore the many different interpretations of a can opener itself, and the separate words ‘can’ and ‘opener’.
